01 — What it is

What is MTS ID

MTS ID verifies a phone number on the mobile operator side using SIM-PUSH. Your app requests a verification, the operator checks the active SIM and confirms the number without the user entering a code. If SIM-PUSH is unavailable (for example on a virtual operator), it automatically falls back to an SMS one-time code. The method works across all Russian operators through one API.

Why MTS ID

No code entry
SIM-PUSH confirms the number silently on the operator side — fewer steps, higher sign-up conversion.

06 — FAQ

Frequently asked

What is SIM-PUSH?

It is a silent operator-side number check: the active SIM is verified and the user does not enter a code.

What if SIM-PUSH is unavailable?

It falls back to an SMS one-time code automatically — the verification continues with no extra integration.

Which operators does it work on?

All Russian operators: the big four (MTS, MegaFon, Beeline, Tele2) and MVNOs (T-Mobile and others).

How much does a verification cost?

2 ₽ for the big four and 3 ₽ for MVNOs (via SMS code). You pay only for successful verifications.

Does the user need an app?

No. SIM-PUSH runs on the operator side, and the fallback code arrives as a regular SMS — no apps or internet.
